The Gentle Ben may not be so gentle

With an ounce each of vodka, gin and tequila this drink is pretty potent, so heed this warning and don't drink this one on a school night, folks!

It is said that the honor of the cocktail's name was given to Dr. Benjamin Mosier, a scientist and inventor. He was working on a distillation enhancement technology that removes harsh impurities and enhances underlying flavors. That technology is designed to make spirits smoother.

This is why I suggested it should be a weekend-only drink. The orange juice masks the three other liquors and by the time you're beginning to drink your second drink, you start feeling quite "gentle." Then realizing the ratio of liquor to orange juice, you understand why.

Thank you, Dr. Mosier for creating such a superb drink. Everyone needs a little Gentle Ben in their life sometimes, but not on school nights! Onto the recipe...
